Insulate aluminium with Polyurethane resin
Aluminium is an excellent conductor of heat, cold and electricity, and is used in many products because of these properties. Where in many cases they are desirable properties, it can be an obstacles in cases where thermal or electrical insulation is required. By providing aluminium profiles with a thermal and/or electrical interruption while retaining all of its positive properties, these obstacles become a thing of the past. And that is exactly what we do at Thermal Breaks, insulating aluminium profiles with Polyurethane resin.
Thermal break
In addition to the problems of transmitting heat and cold, uninsulated aluminium frames often also cause condensation on the inside of the frame. The consequences of this are an unpleasant indoor climate, moisture problems and even mold formation. Fortunately, there are various techniques for properly insulating aluminium profiles for window frames and doors. This is called a “thermal break”.
